The Football Round Up – The Scottish Cup Final, managerial changes and Premier League thrashings

It’s been a massive weekend in Scottish football and with some massive results in the Premier League as well, there was more than enough for our panel to discuss, with Jack Donnelly being joined by Struan Garvie, Seán McGill and Jamie Mcintosh on a bumper episode of the Football Round Up.

In this week’s Big Questions, the boys discuss their unbiased favourite Cup Finals, with Jack and Seán sharing scarily similar memories of the 2010 World Cup Final, Jamie talking up the German takeover of the 2013 Champions League and Struan loading praise on to the Barcelona team of 2015.

There’s a massive focus on the 2019/20 Scottish Cup Final, which was played out on Sunday after being postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The panel discuss the immense achievement that is Celtic’s quadruple treble, how Hearts may well have deserved to win the trophy and whether or not Scott Brown has room to play the pantomime villain anymore.

There’s big chat about Stuart Kettlewell losing his job at Ross County, with former Inverness and Raith Rovers manager John Hughes replacing him after three years out of football, while David Martindale secured the Livingston job on a full time basis after winning his first four games in charge.

Seán rants about Kilmarnock, Struan actually praises Manchester United and Jack and Jamie celebrate as they watch Chelsea score their second and third goals against West Ham LIVE – as we said, it’s a bumper episode!
